Global Warning Ready

Don't be hypocritical people.

Ironically, we were talking about the global warning in an air-conditioned classroom.

”‘Green is the new black’ already sounds passé, and the proverbial ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’ motto is cliché.”*1
Why do people so fret over global warning and come up with a bunch of solutions to separate glass from plastic? Yes, Yes! We have to do this and to do that, solution A and solution B. Yes, Yes! We can't use plastic bags anymore. I confess: as a graphic designer, I am part of an industry that encourages paper consumption. Nothing pleases me more than seeing my works scrolling across the printed page. Is it wrong of me, hypocritical of me, to promote sustainability when I earn my bread and butter in an industry so responsible for waste, energy and water consumptiom, and climate change? Probably. There are lots of ways to protect our natural resources—and designer are front and center in almost all of those efforts. Reference onto HOW magazine August, 2007.

Turn off the air-conditioner first, please.

Goodbye Manhattan

Dear Mahanttan...

I have made the choice to leave this amazing city for the cultural center—Boston. I will miss the 3:45 ambulance honking, the rude cab drivers, unreliable subways, blackouts, scorching summer, the roosevelt island(danm! Got a ticket there owing to drinking outside), the bryant park(...), and all my friends.

Thanks for making the last 14 months memorable! Onto the next adventure! Lobster, I am comin' for ya!

Hello Boston~
